Description

The Ride-A-Pet Potion, commonly referred to as the Ride Potion, is a legendary potion in Adopt Me! that can be found and purchased in the Sky Castle for 130 Robux (formerly 150 Robux). It can otherwise be obtained by trading. This potion was added to the game in August 2019, shortly after the pets Update. If a player clicks its icon while they have it equipped, they will be prompted with the message: "Product Description: Feed this to any pet to make it permanently rideable." Once a player has fed a Ride-A-Pet Potion to a pet, the pet will gain the ability to be ridden. In order to activate a pet's ride ability, players will have to interact with their pet and press 2 or "Ride". Its counterpart is the Fly-A-Pet Potion.

Appearance

The Ride-A-Pet Potion features a clear glass bottle in the shape of a horse containing a hot pink liquid giving off a small faint glow. It is topped with an orange bottle cork.

Trivia

Just like the Fly-A-Pet Potion, neither players, dolls nor eggs can consume the Ride-A-Pet Potion.

When a baby rides a pet, the pet stays the same size. However, when a parent rides the pet, the pet grows to accommodate the parent's size. This is similar to vehicles, as they also scale to the size of parents and babies.

If one of the combined pets used to make a Neon or Mega Neon have a Fly and/or Ride ability, the Neon/Mega Neon version will inherit those abilities as well.

The Ride-A-Pet Potion used to be located in the Pet Shop. However, it was moved to the Potion Shop after the Fly-A-Pet Potion Update, then to the Sky Castle after the Sky Castle update, along with the Fly-A-Pet Potion, Translucent Tea Potion, Big Brew Potion, and Small Sip Potion.

The Ride-A-Pet Potion was featured in the starter bundle and the Pet + Potion bundle.

The "Rideable Icon" formerly did not appear, even after a player had fed their pet the potion.

The Ride-A-Pet Potion was priced at 150 Robux until April 30, 2024.

The Ride-A-Pet Potion was included in the Black Friday 2024 Bundle, which cost 385 Robux.
